I'd say first thing to do is get under your car and check for worn bushings. Get some new (stock not ES) tension rod bushings if they're looking bad. Check for bent suspension members and signs of blown shocks. If you feel that your stock shocks are blown, get a new set of stock ones and put them in. Now take your car to a couple of track events and a couple of autocrosses. Get a good feel for your car and what needs to be done to make it perform more to your taste. If you want to upgrade your coilovers then I'd suggest SPL parts for their setup as it seems to be be a good deal. If you're looking to make the car "handle" better I'd say start with a nice set of A032R's for your stock rims then go from there. The only serious defficiency in the stock Z32 is it's brakes. So a nice set of tires for the track and at least more aggressive brake pads, if not larger rotors. Get a feel for your car then ask questions like: My car has way too much (understeer/oversteer/torque steer/bump steer/etc.) with x setup, what should I do to correct this? Sorry I come across as a bit harsh here but "doing it all at once" means spending alot more than money on parts. It means having to take the car in to have the suspension adjusted alot till you get it feeling like you want. Also if your tires aren't up to the challenge your suspension may help your car look more aggressive and handle more percisely (which can be bad if you're not on top of the situation) but you won't be getting around the corner as fast as a stock suspesion guy with good brakes and good tires.
